On each piece of card stock, draw a star of a different size (you want some of them to be large enough to cut out a smaller star in the middle.) Cut the stars out. These will be your templates. Pin them to the foam sheet, and follow them to cut the stars from the foam sheet. Following the package instructions, carefully use the StyroCutter Plus to cut the smaller stars from the centers. Be sure to keep the blade of the cutter at a 90 degree angle to the foam. Keep a steady pace and do not force the blade through the foam. - 2
Brush the stars with a generous amount of Mod Podge. While the stars are still wet, apply a thick coat of Diamond Dust. When dry, spray paint the glittered stars in the color or colors of your choice and let dry. - 3
Cut various lengths of dowels with the small saw to create stands for some of the stars. Spray paint the dowels a coordinating color. When dry, glue one end of the dowels into the bottom of the stars and the other end into the foam discs. Conceal the foam discs with artificial snow and pine branches.
